About Me

Daniel’s first experience in communication practice came when he took over his fraternity’s Instagram account as a sophomore, where he would double the account’s following from 800-1600 followers over 2.5 years. Since that time, he has dedicated his skillset to public relations and leadership practice. Serving as president of the Honors Program, president and director of finance of his PRSSA chapter and vice president of his fraternity, Daniel has developed an unmatched skillset, for which he was recognized through being awarded the Department of Communication’s “External Leadership Award” in spring 2024.

In July 2024, he began putting his skills into practice, starting as communication intern at Tyler Union, a division of McWane Inc., located in Anniston, Alabama. In this internship role, he works cross-collaboratively with various departments to gather content that can be used to assist in both internal and external communications. Creating content for corporate intranet and the company’s social media accounts, he is also working to garner earned media for the company.

Daniel is expected to graduate in May 2025 and plans to continue enhancing his knowledge and skills through professional practice. He hopes to one day be a director of communication for an organization, leading a team of individuals in making strategic communication decisions.
